I have to admit when I signed up for the 40 day challenge I wasn’t expecting that I would actually finish writing my book in 40 days. This experience was no walk in the park it had its ups and downs, its highs and lows, its good and the bad. Now understand this is about my life while I was participating in this program, not the course itself. To start off, Minister Catherine Storing is the best teacher I have ever had, other than The Holy Spirit. She makes sure that everyone understands what she is teaching and she won't leave any who is fully committed behind. She is truly gifted to do what she does. Not only is she great at motivating her students, she also prays for them and with them when needed. I had been trying and failing to write my book for many many years until God made this divine connection with the book midwife. I was so terrified to start the writing program because I didn't think that I would finish. I thought I would be the one who did really good in the beginning but fizzled out by the end. I can't put the words together of how blessed I'm being apart of the write your book in 40-Days Program. I have been overwhelmed with inexpressible emotions because this has been a God-given vision for me and in participating in the program it has now become a reality. Where do I begin? The only place is at the beginning. One day I searched FB for "writing groups" and "Writing Made Simple" was the first one at the top. It caught my eye because I was looking for a 'simple' way to assure that I was on the right path, as I had already completed my book; so I thought. The course was more than I expected. I thought I was going to learn some valuable insight from a group of other writers. You know, pick up some pointers here and there. However, what I gained was more information than I ever imagined. The Write Your Book in 40-Days Program took my fellow classmates and me from the beginnings of a blank paper to the end, all by including God in every step we took. Step by step, we learned to complete our book in 40-days. The only thing I regret is that I got off to a slow start and I hate not catching everything at the time I should. However, the class didn't leave anyone behind and I have the chance to do the program over again if I choose. We gained relationships not only with each other but with our Writing Mama, Minister Catherine Storing, Book Midwife. I would refer anyone needing to go from Step 1 or even Step 5 to book completion.
